Leaders-are you being intentional in your decision-making?

Dear Leaders, are you being intentional in your decision-making?

Your decisions lead to your results. And that makes sense, of course!

You make about 33,000 decisions in a day.

How many of those are you aware of?

Because our minds like patterns and don’t like to skew or shift thinking patterns that lead to decisions, you will create the same thoughts, beliefs, feelings, and action steps over and over again. You keep making the same decisions that lead to the same outcomes. Basically, you can fall asleep to your patterns.

And since our minds are wired for safety and protection, they don’t want to grow or look at new ideas. This is science, and it is true for everyone.

The way we wake up to our limiting patterns that keep repeating is when we get an outcome we don’t want.

If you are not intentional about noticing the thought patterns that keep you repeating outcomes you don’t want, you will continue down this path.

The mind is full of conflict - internally and externally - because it’s defensive to protect you. That’s why it’s hard to see new paths and also hear others.

The unconscious, automatic mind believes it’s right about how you should be and how the world should be—it judges in order to keep you safe. It thinks the worst and is constantly judging. Again, this is true for every single human being.

You can have strategies and pay a lot of money to develop systems to move your business forward, but if you are not working on your mind, you will limit how your strategies are implemented.

Strategies are secondary.

You must master being aware of your thoughts—and know how to shift them when you get outcomes you don’t desire.

Again, 33,000 decisions in a day!

Getting a result you don’t want is actually a gift. It’s the opportunity to practice growing your mind and looking at the world and outcomes in a different way.

Will this be uncomfortable? Yes. This is why change is not easy for people and why they repeat the same outcomes.

We must welcome discomfort as an opportunity to grow. If you resist what is uncomfortable, you will always stay where you are.

This is what I teach the leaders I am blessed to work with.

We look at undesirable outcomes and how to take responsibility for ourselves—without blame and shame—and get curious about new perspectives.

I invite you to stop wasting time, energy, and money.

Text me 708-989-1159 or find time on my calendar to get together and discuss which wins you want to create for yourself and your business.

We are all able to do this, but you’ve got to be willing to do the inner work on yourself.

You’ve got to be responsible; no one can change your thinking but you. No one can change your actions but you.

I believe in you. These tools have changed my life and the lives of countless leaders I have been honored to work with.
