Your Enneagram type is not your personality.

It is the pattern running underneath your personality, quietly driving decisions you think you are making freely.

It is driving how you price your services. How you show up in sales conversations. How you respond when a client goes quiet for three days.

Most people learn their type, feel a flash of recognition, and stop there. A fun fact about themselves to mention at a dinner party.

I use it as the beginning, not the end.

Once you know your type, you can start to see exactly where its pattern is running your business. A Two might be overgiving until resentment builds. An Eight might be pushing too hard the moment resistance shows up. A Nine might be avoiding the decision entirely, hoping it resolves itself.

None of these patterns are wrong. They are simply automatic, until you learn to see them.

And once you see them, you get to choose whether the pattern runs you, or whether you run it.

This week, notice one moment where your type's pattern showed up clearly. Do not judge it. Just notice it.

That noticing is where the real leverage lives.
